Our Artustrators are professional writers, musicians, illustrators, graphic designs, animators and developers. Our mission is to cultivate constructive connections within our Nubu projects we provide the best advice through our contents to help the world through our illustrators and animations.

LAYOUT SUPERVISOR

This is an excellent opportunity for a very experienced Layout Artist (Artustrators) who would love to lead a small Layout team on a beloved children’s series! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Lead, teach, and guide a small team of Flash Build artists to create the assigned style for builds ​Plan each episode to achieve deliverables, while creating workflow efficiency, and working.

PIPELINE TD (LEGO)

We are seeking a Pipeline TD to join our crew on a Lego production! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Assist the Head of Technology with all aspects of technical components React to pipeline development challenges and troubleshoot solutions Aid in the development of applications and creative pipeline tools and techniques to improve productivity Create and update documentation and assist with roll.

PIPELINE TD

We are seeking a PIPELINE TD to work closely with the Head of Technology and Pipeline team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized and motivated individual who enjoys being part of an exciting and fast-paced animation studio. The ideal candidate must have great asset management skills and the technical abilities to help develop and implement pipeline tools.

TECHNICAL PRODUCER

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Works with the Head Of Technology, Supervising Producers and technical leads to formulate, drive and maintain the development schedule Manage the daily operations of the pipeline team Works with the Head of Technology as the department’s front facing point of contact to producers, upper management and production in general Manage schedules and budget.

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

PRODUCTION COORDINATOR This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced coordinator to work on an exciting TV animation series! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Working under the Line Producer the coordinator will  provide updates, priorities, schedules, and status of all shots to artists and to show leadership Ensure Shotgun statuses and task assignments are updated.

FLASH BUILD ARTIST

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 2D ARTIST to join the crew on a beloved children’s series! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Work closely with, and take direction from the Builds Supervisor to create and revise the characters and prop builds; Meet deadlines and quotas as assigned by Supervisor and production management; and Innovate creative solutions to troubleshoot.

FLASH FX ARTIST

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FX ARTIST to join the crew on our next Flash productions! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Hand draw FX in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule Demonstrate a strong sense of drawing fundamentals Take direction from Supervisors and Leads.

INTERNATIONAL FILM/TV DISTRIBUTION COORDINATOR – THUNDERBIRD

Thunderbird is looking for a proactive Coordinator who will drive the daily operations of the Sales and Acquisitions department. This includes support in digital distribution, sales/delivery tracking, title availability, client notifications, and market/film festival preparations. He/she will be the central resource for consolidating all internal/external sales and servicing information with a focus on the international

LAYOUT ARTIST

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Layout Artist who wants to join the crew on a beloved children’s series! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Draw and paint the background layout of a shot for the Animators to animate based on the Storyboard Complete all layouts while maintaining the style and quality 

HARMONY ANIMATOR

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Toon Boom HARMONY ANIMATOR who enjoys being part of an exciting and nostalgic production! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip sync Take direction from Supervisors and Leads.

HARMONY BUILD ARTIST

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 2D ARTIST who enjoys working on BUILDS (rigging/breaking) on our next exciting harmony television series. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Work closely with, and take direction from the Builds Supervisor to create and revise the characters and prop builds; Meet deadlines and quotas as assigned by Supervisor and production management.

FLASH ANIMATOR

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated FLASH ANIMATOR to join the crew on our next Flash productions! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip sync Take direction from Supervisors and Leads.

2D COMP ARTIST (HARMONY)

We are looking for experienced Comp Artists to join us on Hilda, our current Harmony production! WHAT YOU’LL DO:​ Composite shots in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule Take direction from Supervisors and Leads Meet deadlines as assigned by Supervisors and Production WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: Animation experience on a TV production.

ART DESIGNER

We are looking for designers to join our crew on an exciting new CG Lego production! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Take direction from the Senior Designer and receive feedback from the Art Director.   Design sets, props and characters. Work efficiently and within the established workflow. Participate in departments meetings as required. 

CG SUPERVISOR

Atomic Cartoons is currently looking to add a CG Supervisor to our team for a new and exciting production! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Aids in all technical aspects of animation production including modelling, shading, animation, lighting, and FX. Works closely with the clients to receive the brief and discuss Atomic’s capabilities both technically and creatively.

LIGHTING AND COMP ARTIST

This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented Lighting/Comp Artist to join the crew in our exciting CG productions! WHAT YOU’LL DO: Work shot by shot or in sequences to attain the creative lighting goals of the director with the support of the Lighting Supervisor Share ideas, collaborate and work closely with other.

CG ANIMATOR

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated CG ANIMATOR to join our next exciting action CG production. WHAT YOU’LL DO:  Animate in a team environment on a sequence of shots within a TV schedule Demonstrate a strong sense of performance, posing, timing, weight, and lip sync Take direction from Supervisors and Leads Meet.

CG RIGGER

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Rigging Artist to join an exciting action CG production. WHAT YOU’LL DO: Create and support interfaces, control mechanisms and tools for production assets. Design and implement new tools and techniques for the production. Work closely with the animators and modelers to set up character rigs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead, teach, and guide a small team of Flash Build artists to create the assigned style for builds

  • ​Plan each episode to achieve deliverables, while creating workflow efficiency, and working closely with the Production Coordinator to proactively flag and problem-solve any potential issues

  • Meet deadline as assigned by production management

  • Help ensure that weekly assigned quotas and expectations are met by the Artustrators.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Don't need to be experienced, your work says it all. Able to produce cartoon illustrations, 2D or 3D Layout. 

  • Able to work with any Adobe program.

  • Diploma or degree in Fine Arts, Computer Animation and Graphic Designing is a plus but not needed.

  • Able to communicate creative and technical thoughts and ideas

  • Great attitude and willingness to learn

  • Must be able to work in house with our artustrators.

INTERNSHIPS

Our interns contribute to current productions and development projects.

Interns are given the opportunity to share and apply their skills and knowledge while working alongside industry professionals of varying experience and backgrounds. Each intern is assigned their own artustrator, under the supervision of supportive and approachable crew and Line Producer. Nubu Management doesn't paid for working for Nubu, we promote your name and work as an artustrator.
